    new to tuning and performance and such, what exactly will headers do to my tundra? and the difference between short and long tube?

    more than I can list here
    Long tubes gain low end torque, throttle response. And with the proper exhaust behind them they gain 49hp and 89tq to the rear wheels over stock.

    Shorties lose low end torque with zero gain in hp or tq anywhere in the power curve.

    so would your 6 ich system be the right exhaust for long tubes?

    It wouldn’t be bad. But a dual exhaust is better. And 3” diameter at that.
