    Hi all,
Looking for pics of trucks with stock suspension, aftermarket 20" wheels, and 275 60 r 20 (33") tires. I have a crewmax and want to go to the Novikane SOTA wheel with a +25 and am seriously thinking of no lift. Just want a slightly wider stance and a little taller tire to fill the wheel well more. Much appreciated!

No one is running this tire size on stock suspension? Would really like to see some pics if any of you guys have them.

    Much appreciated,

I have that size tire on stock rim if you want to see that. I put 275/60/20 BF Goodrich K02s on my Platinum rims

    Looks great!

Still trying to decide what to do. Pretty sure I am going to proceed with the SOTA Novakane wheels in 20x9 with +25 offset and 275 60r20 BFG KO2's, then sell my stock TRD Sport wheels and tires, then add the color matched OEM flares.

275/60x20 tires on custom Raceline Havoc +25 offset wheels. Stock height. Had to remove front flaps on bumper and heat and mold the mud flaps a little to stop rubbing. Good Luck!

Yes, Wildpeaks, P-rated. Like them, but only about 500 miles on them so far. Don't tow or haul anything heavy anymore, so I don't need e-rated tires. Slightly more noise than the stock Michelins, but much better when roads are icy.

Mine are technically aftermarket, as they have a different offset than stock, but they came on the TSS Off-road edition Tundras.

My tires are 285/55/20, which I know is not what was requested, but are also the same as 33s, just wider than the 275s.
    2BDDA39E-ADCF-4AAD-85EF-1E7FE90EEFC9.jpg

I like them, but I think I’ll go with 34s when these wear out.

Looks great. Any issues running the 285's? I was entertaining trying that for the extra width.

None whatsoever. I’m fairly certain I could go bigger and still not rub. Nothing at full turn, climbing, speed bumps, etc.

Do you think a 285 60 would have issues?

That’s only 33.5” tall. I don’t see it being an issue, but I can’t guarantee anything. I can only say what I’ve gathered from my experience with my tundra.

It depends on your wheel offset. As I mentioned, with a +25 offset wheel, you have to remove the front bumper flap and heat and re-form the mud flap a little if you don't want any rubbing. With a 285 you will have to do more. The reason some guys get by with larger tires is a +35 to +60 offset wheel.

I just had Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed, 275-60R20. No lift or mods, stock wheels. I was going to level the front, but I like this look better, and it’s more functional.

That really looks good! How is your ride quality? Did the little extra sidewall improve it a bit? Amazing how a little larger and more aggressive tire changes everything.

Thanks man, ride quality is just slightly rougher, probably due to the tread design (going from highway tires to A/T). There's a little more road noise too, but barely noticeable. Definitely changes the look, and will hopefully handle much better offroad compared to the stock tires.

I have 285/55/20. Really hoping to go with a 285/65/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Let me know if it works. The 275/60/20 BFG KO2s have about a little over 1 finger of space between the edge of the tire and the upper control arms. I suspect some slight trimming would be needed as well.

This is what mine currently looks like next to control arm. Isn’t the 275 wider?

285 is wider by 10mm so it should be good to go. The middle number is how tall by percentage of how wide the tire is. Your 285/65/20 is about 34.5” in diameter.

Yeah that’s what I’m going for the 34.5, there is a 2018 TSS same wheels like mine and offset and he’s running 295/55/20 no rub all stock. @Donkeypunch

The smaller that middle number is the more it rides like a forklift with solid tires.

275/70/18 Open Country mud tires are 33.5" when new look better and ride smoother in my opinion.

Yea I have +25 offset wheels with 275/70R18 and the edge of my tire rubs just slightly when reversing at full lock, making contact on the back side of both front-wheel wells just above the mudflap. See the pic I attached with the smudge mark on the black plastic right where the wheel is contacting it.

So my question is for those who went from 275/55R20 to 275/60R20. I’m considering the larger but I don’t want to move any movement with my truck on the trails. I’m worried the extra size will not allow as much flex. I don’t have any kind of lift. Has anyone had any experience with this?
