    My Grandfather retired Seabee, UT1. He ran into health issues with agent orange and pass many years ago. I just wrapped up 20 years myself, ISC. I did a tour with 30NCR and NMCB40 in Port Hueneme as support.

    I was a 17 yr old Machinist Mate on the USS La Moure County. I boarded her in May of 1980 and I spent my entire time on her and couldn't have been more happy. This was during the Iranian hostage crisis so we passed through the Suez and spent a good bit of time over there
    250 or so Navy and 350-400 Marines

    Sadly, fires and floods have destroyed all my pictures from that time.
