I tightened the one with the arrow which didn’t help. Which others are for the window motor?

Just snug all of them down. Not too tight. Just snug them slightly a bit at a time until firm. Alternate doing all of them and come back and re-snug. You can also lift that plastic flap up from the bottom and reach your hand in there a feel around a bit for anything that has fallen or my be loose.

This reminds me, I think I need new window motors.

That picture is not of my truck its a pic I found online so I can see where the bolts are located. Trying to figure out which ones are for the window assembly so I don't punch through the matting more than I need to.

I assumed such. Punching thru the matting will not change a thing. Just foil tape the cut out plugs back over. The screws for the tracks run vertically on each side of door. Won’t hurt to tighten everything.

I don't think I ever posted my phone mount in this thread. Ram Mounts motorcycle mount bolted to the grab handle, an extension arm and a mount of your choice that is a ball mount (mine is a mob armor marball). IMG_20181226_133057.jpg IMG_20181226_133024.jpg

Bluetooth module for music. Plug and play, allows use of steering wheel controls ( forward and back song tracks ).

I put a JVC stereo in that came with a Bluetooth mic that I mounted on my A pilar. It works great and cost around $70 from Crutchfield.

That's another upgrade for down the road. Need a new stereo to replace this cheap aftermarket one.

I mean, mine is honestly a cheap aftermarket unit but works great. I finally have bluetooth capability for both calls and streaming music. They were also doing a deal where if you buy the stereo you can get matching JCV speakers at half off. The speakers came out to $12.50 each after the discount. Install was a breeze.

Whatever you do, I highly recommend Crutchfield.

Here is the one I have.

So the one I bought seems to have been discontinued on Amazon. I found this one :
Wyness Car MP3 USB/AUX 3.5mm Stereo Wireless Music Receiver Wireless Hands Free Auto Bluetooth Adapter Fit for Toyota (6+6) Pin Camry Tacoma Corolla Tundra RAV4 Lexus RX GS is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y99V8T3/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_iDAsCbPJ7YRN

    Similar in design.

Take out stock head unit, plug in module, and that's it. For me, the audio quality through BT is far better than aux input. Great addition/ improvement.

I was thinking about getting one but may just wait until I get a new stereo.

Im not very tech savvy so I like keeping it simple and stock, hence the module. I guess im one of the few that actually like Toyotas "dated" technology.

I've got the GTA car kit in my truck. Sounds ok and it's really easy to install, but sometimes i have a problem with the Bluetooth connecting automatically when i start my ride up. i just have to disconnect the Bluetooth from my phone and reconnect and it works fine from there on.

Thanks for letting me know; think I'll pull the trigger on this kit.
What did you do with the AUX cable you gained and did you go ahead and setup the USB charging cable (optional)?

I'm thinking of using the two blanks below the ash tray for these; would love to see pics of someone already doing something like this.

I had the same thought, except my blank is next to the cargo lamp button. There has to be something like this that would work.. https://www.amazon.com/USB-Mount-Cable-Extention-Motorcycle/dp/B00VAIEAUM/

    Has anyone done that before?

I also noticed the GTA kit has an old 20 pin connector, pretty annoying to have to use that many adapters.

I installed Bluetooth for well under $100.

I used the aux adapter without Bluetooth (in hindsight I could have gotten the one with Bluetooth I think)
-wyness part number 5864134764 (Toyota 6x6 aux adapter)
Then I used a chargeable Bluetooth adapter that used a mini USB.
To power the Bluetooth I used a wired (two wire) 12v DC to mini USB plug. This was wired to a key switched 12v+.

The mini USB always stays plugged in and keeps the Bluetooth charged. The Bluetooth shuts off after a few minutes without being connected. So I get out of the truck, walk away, and the Bluetooth turns off. When I get back in the truck I just hit the pair button on the Bluetooth and it pairs.
    (Pics to come)

I just updated my post with a picture of the actual Bluetooth unit. Not much to see but I like the way it turned out. I just drilled a hole in the little tray to run the wires and I used some hook and loop to mount the Bluetooth.

Thank you sir! Definitely a clean setup. I have the bench seat so I'd need a different mounting solution, but definitely a great idea.
