What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

For the first time since I bought this truck I paid somebody else to detail it and wax the outside. Kills me to fork over money for something I can do myself, but with my ankle injury I'm off my feet for another 2 weeks and the truck was in desperate need of a bath.

Atleast they did an excellent job, looks better now than it did when I purchased it. And they were able to get the scratches out of my clear coat from the dipshit who was wearing a watch while installing my shocks and grabbed the top of my bed to lift himself up.

Put 1400 miles on it driving from the mountains of North Idaho to the desert of California to my next duty station. Drove like an absolute dream.

Hey Ron, I've got an autographed Jamarcus Russell jersey. LOL It used to be framed and hanging in my house, but I had to take it down due to all the ridicule I started getting from friends. It's packed away somewhere... I'm thinking it's gonna be worth something someday. As long as some dumb shit doesn't come along and flop worse than him.

 

I so remember draft day and hanging with my best friend who is a Raider fan, pleading.... Please don't draft Russell, but I knew how Al Davis worked. It is the 2 nd biggest flop other than Ryan Leaf in nfl history. Imop of course. I would burn it, but that's just me. Ya never know

 

I was gonna make fun of Jamarcus, but then I remembered that I'm a Chargers fan and used to have Ryan Leaf play for us.

No, I'd have to disagree. Atleast Ryan Leaf was on the sidelines for a few years. Jamarcus was twice the money and I don't think he even made it through the second year? He weighed 300lbs before he even stepped on the field. Then he decided he'd rather be a codeine syrup dealer rather than play ball.

Picked up my new rims and tires, and got my DuHa storage....wait for it....some A-hole at Toyota put the jack in the wrong way and I can't get it out. It's just enough in the way I can't attach the 3rd screw. Really? You had one job...

This is how they look in my configuration with the storage box. First pic is with seat down, second with seat up.

 

I was quite pleased with the outcome, can't wait to put them on Saturday!

 

Installed chrome wheel skins on the stock steel wheels. Not for everyone but I like the brightness on the wheels. They are cheap too. If they get lost or damaged I am not out much at all.

 

Chrome fans are definitely the minority around here. The truck looks great!

The wheels look nice. I like chrome too. I've been thinking about swapping my black door handles over to chrome.

 

UPS was busy today! I got my fog lights, graphics and my TRD pro grille and bulge I'm going to be busy this weekend!
