i thought it would be fun to see everyone’s trucks they had before they got their first Tundra.

Too many cars to list, since fixing up vehicles is my hobby...so I’m just going to stick with trucks unless someone wants more photos.

    Here are my last two.

    2000 F250 7.3l

    2004 Sierra Denali Quadrasteer

    Let’s see yours!!
What do you like better about the Tundra (other than the fact it’s a Tundra and they’re awesome)?

Last two were a shit brown 99 S-10 and green 97 Silverado

No pics of the Silverado though (only had it one year until it crapped out and decided to buy a Tundy)

Here’s the s-10. Good little truck, but a little cramped for me (I’m 6’3”) lasted me ten years though.

Loved my ‘10 Tacoma. Fiinally upgraded and am very happy with the plush leather and ample room of my Tundra, but I miss the “I can drive over that mountain” feeling the Taco gave me.

Not what I really meant in my original post, but I guess it IS technically a truck. :)

My first truck was a Tundra (gen 2). It'll likely be another decade or more before the chance even comes up that I'll own a different truck.

Before my Tundra was a 2006 Taco! Loved this truck. REALLY loving the 5.7L in the tundra, still makes me smile when I merge on the freeway.

Any more pictures of the Pontiac? Those are very few and far between. My Dad has a completely restored 68 Camaro and my brother has a frame off restored 69 Z28 Camaro.

This is my 3rd Toyota truck. For the longest time if you asked me what I was going to own, I would have laughed at the possibility of owning anything Japanese. As you can see, my preferences have shifted haha.

Most recent truck before my Tundra was a Chevy Silverado with the dreadful Active Fuel Management. The AFM began its problems about 1000 miles past the warranty period. It would go into limp mode with no warning what so ever. I tried replacing throttle position sensor, etc. It just became so unreliable that I started researching which trucks did not have that lousy idea installed in it. TYVM GM!!. Spoke with a Toyota tech, and he assured me no problems with Toyota Tundras, and I have never looked back. Very happy with my Tundra. I have a 2017 CM and the interior is so roomy I can't believe it. Car seats for grandkids fit easily and loads of room. My Tundra looks awesome and performs as well too. I am sold on the Tundra. No more GM for me again, and I was always a GM owner. No more!!

Great car. I put a lot of work into this one. It’s beautiful, but I love the sound more than anything.

    Lost track after #1.
I've owned a Ford F150, Chevy Silverado and GMC 1500. Liked the F150 the best out of the three of them. The Chevy was just junk. The GMC was a little better, but still not worth it. I'd buy an F150 again if it wasn't so damn expensive.

97 Dodge Ram I don't seem to have any pics that I can find now. Bought brand new got rid of it 2015. Top of dash cracked typical, paint peeled and my dash board display was like a Christmas tree display. Had to do the tranny I could sit down with a cold one and embrace all the fond memories, but to busy for that right now.

2004 F 150 Super Crew, lowered 4 inches in the front and rear end flip with short shackles and air bags. Three sets of ball joint, 4 sets of wheels, two complete rear end swaps, two drive shafts, and a rocking stereo/ video system for the kids.
It needed a new tranny and that's what broke the camels back.:anonymous: Traded it on my 16 Tundra. Before that a 1990 Black PreRunner extended cab. Nothing ever happened to that truck beside gas and oil changes and brake pads:D

I wish. Previous owner had switched to a sbc, so I built off of that.
It’s a 400 that’s been destroked to 377, aluminum heads, aluminum carb, roller rockers, headers, etc.

Nice sounds great! Do you have a big stall converter in it with that cam? I seen it was an automatic transmission with that B&M slap shifter. My 86 pick up has a built small block with Dart heads, roller rockers, and a 292 duration cam shaft I love the sound of a big cam.

No intention of bragging whatsoever but I do still have my fully built 100% by me MS3 running a BNR GT 28 turbo self tuned on full ethanol.....but I never drive her since everyone try’s to race me.....Plus it’s no truck. Just bought a car cover so she can just sit. It’s my pride and joy and has embarrassed many high powered cars:)
