Ok I'm going to try this here. I have a question about spark plug change. While changing my low beam bulb i thought that it was time to do a spark plug change since i had 119k+ on my 07 4.7. I was looking over the job when i saw what i think is something to do with emissions? right on top of the spark plug on the third cylinder back. Should i undo the two bolts on top just under this or should I take it off at the manifold or exhaust pipe to get it out of my way?

Show us a pic. I have a 2000 4.7 and I just took coil off to get access to plug. Are you talking about the rubber hoses?

Those are the Secondary Air Injection switching valves. They are a little different on my year, but you unbolt the metal flange from the valve body, remove the rubber hose and connector. Unbolt it from the valve cover and wiggle it off.

But before you remove it, order replacement gaskets for them from the dealer. They are just thin sheetmal gaskets and may be corroded.
