I have an 18 limited the range on my key fobs is usually terrible...after having an 08 for 10 yrs and never having a problem i figured the fobs just came with bad batteries so i changed both but it didn't help much.
Am i the only one? Cant use it more than 10ft away like 3/4 of the time..
    Anyone else?

Just tried mine and it works from about 60ft and that's me standing at my neighbor's driveway. My truck was at the bottom of my driveway so i couldn't see it.

I noticed with mine that it doesn’t lock the doors sometimes, unlike my Tacoma and 4Runner. Its like if I jump out and hit the fob pretty fast, the truck will not accept the signal- like it needs a few seconds after I close the door to reset something allow the doors to lock. I have to stop and turn around and hit the fob a few more times. I tried both fobs thinking the button might be defective, but both fobs are the same.

My 2018 has issues. Haven’t had time to take it in. It’s a pain to get all doors to unlock.

Mine unlock fine, and I have them set to all unlock with 1 click.

I changed mine so all of the doors unlock at the same time.

Mine doesn't work from as far away as my Tacoma fob did, but I haven't had any issues with it either.

Yup, I am pretty sure most, if not all member who posted on here about KeyFob issues changed the cargo lights to LEDS.

My 08 has a 10ft range. Always had. New FOB didn't help. My IS300 has maybe 100ft range with the FOB built into the key.

Probably due to LED lights installed in the cab, tails or 3rd brake

No LEDs on my truck. I have learned that if I hold the fob high in the air that it works better. I did a test I pointed the FOB at my truck and walked back till it didn't work. I tried the chin thing and nothing. I held the FOB high over my head and it worked. I continued walking back till the FOB didn't work. I got maybe another 8 feet.
