We take a hit here in COS due to the military. They are never here long enough and they think the GIs are all idiots (actually heard a salesman say that)

Just buyer beware on warranties like this. I have heard of these swan songs before.

It's funny that you think I'm mad or upset. It's the Internet dude. Go rinse the cum bubble out ya mouth.

Would you think differently of me if I swallowed it instead?

    Nope. I don't discriminate.

Thanks for the link and information. I read through mine with a fine-toothed comb the day I bought the truck because I figured it was a BS gimmick. (The warranty wasn't a deciding factor with my purchase, it was just a bonus. I would've purchased the truck without it and declined any extended warranty.) My warranty is different than the other guy mentioned. Mine specifically says I need to get the maintenance done at the dealership of purchase within 1 month/1000 miles of maintenance schedule (The salesman said any Toyota dealership, but I trust the contract more than the sales rep.) It also says that if the drive-train breaks within 100 miles of the purchase dealership, the vehicle has to go there. If it is outside of that range, the repairing facility must call the dealership to get the repair authorized. It sounds like a hassle to me, but probably worth it if something big breaks. I'll make the decision on whether or not I want to keep the warranty/servicing my vehicle at that dealership when ToyotaCare runs out.

Pain in the ass or not, that seems pretty good. Better than 2500+ coming out of your wallet.

Found out about receiving the lifetime power-train warranty when signing all the paper work to close the deal at the dealership. It was a fine surprise  we plan to put more miles on the Tundra than we did on our 1987 Toyota pickup, sold it with only 275,000 miles.
