    Hey everyone!

I'm new here... My Tundra is getting a P2442 code and is currently in Limp Mode.

I've done the research, and I know that there was a previous recall because of these valves, but I don't think my Tundra is covered. I currently am at 70,250 miles.

    4.6LTR - 70K miles - 2013 - P2442

What are my options dealing with this problem?

    Thanks,
    Joe

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
I had an 08 Tundra that had one side replaced at the dealer and than both went 30,000 miles later. I had the certified pre owned warranty to 100,000 miles.

I was told by my mechanic that if you disconnect the positive side of the battery the system might reset itself and take you out of limp mode.

If that doesn’t work you need to take it to a Toyota dealer and have them reset the system.

Check the dealers pricing and if you don’t want to go through Toyota I believe there is aftermarket options on YouTube.
