England is foggy and depressing, so it make sense they would buy grey.

I called my last Tundra "ol' bandaid" as it was what Toyota called 'thunder grey'. Well, thunder is a sound, and grey it aint. It looked like a month old used dirty bandaid, so it is no wonder with colors like that, that real grey, white and black are popular. When they had a really GOOD color (example: emerald pearlescent green in the 90s) they stopped offering it. It was beautiful. In general, the colors I see on the new Tundras are rather bland. The red is dull when it should pop IMO. Mesquite is not bad if you are into brown. The blue I guess is as bright as Toy gets these days, guess it appeals to young guys. I get it, businesses buy trucks and they want grey or white. But what about the rest of us. They need to bring back emerald and offer a bright red and maybe a mustard yellow. The truck would be wack in mustard, with chrome (well, maybe black...). Toy needs to shake out some serious cobwebs in the paint department.

I like red and blue on sedans and sports cars. Not so much on trucks and SUVs. For them it's all WHITE :)

Black, white, gray and their related tones are sooooo blah. And they’re slooooow.
Red is the best color, it’s classy and it shows the most personality. And it’s fast as all hell.
Blue is the bridge color between redand the blah colors.
Also note that red is the main Toyota color. That’s because they know it’s the best color and want to stand out.

In Texas, white is my preference. Does not show dirt. Reflects the hot sun away. Black or chrome trim works well on the white body. Caz.

I know what you mean by dark cars in the Texas heat. We travel to El Paso several times a year. In the summer, we always seem to get stuck with black rental cars. And they all have black interiors. They’re absolutely sweltering when you get into them and take forever to cool down.

The joke is on them. My color (cement) isn’t even a color; it’s actually a construction material commonly used in sidewalks, streets and metrosexual loft kitchen countertops. So who’s laughing now?

    I’ll see myself out...

I have a cement Tundra, it's a perfect compliment to the dreary, frozen skies in this part of the country. Though if I lived out West, I'd have to go quicksand.
