Updated mods, pic of soon to be new to me wheels

Forgive the distortion but it's an optical illusion pic, the wheels are not mounted yet.

So far I've put regular mirrors on and boxed the tow mirrors ($40), put in weathertechs ($100)….both Craigslist finds. The wheels I searched for and finally found used, for $300....they are 20s. I'm changing the caps to the TForce caps for $25, another craigslist find. The best mod was ordering the body color grill assembly from sparks Toyota and getting rid of the chrome on the front...the blue streak metallic is loud already, the chrome is too much on the front imo. I also ordered the devil horn in flame color grill emblem, waiting on it. Today I scored new LT305/55R-20 Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventures for $748 shipped to the house, plus install. I'm yet to put on the black window vent visors I ordered free with the grill since sparks was doing free shipping around Christmas....and I need to pull off the running boards and chrome TUNDRA on the doors.

Right now the truck is riding the driveway more than the road...I got my F150 running again after it puked a plug and am determined to get my miles out of it before I get rid of it.

Azul (said slowly, with deep radio voice lol) awaits the departure of my F150.

I can't wait to see it with the wheels on for real.

 

I noticed, going to look great! It never ends with the mods!

 

I've been determined to not go crazy, but it's hard to not do....so I'm hunting mods on the cheap and being patient about it. I love driving this truck. Compared to my 01 f150 supercrew it's lightyears advanced....the thing that shocked me the other day was realizing my 01 SCrew is only 6 years older than Azul...yet, the driving experience is so much different. My only complaint about the Tundra is the radio...my stock 18 year old radio in my SCrew blows away the Tundra's radio. At some point i'll invest in one of the fancy head units with rear camera and handsfree stuff...for right now the aux port and pandora from my phone are plenty. 54600 on the clock now...

 

Craigslist and market place are daily for me too! I've even traded parts for others. That's how I got my Fab Fours bumper
