Anyone have any idea what this add-on is? It is a small plastic piece (1-1.5 in square) with a green button and it's mounted under the dash left of the steering wheel. It is connected to a small black module (also pictured) that is mounted behind the dash. Multiple harnesses coming out of the module going to various under dash systems. Haven’t traced them down yet. Any ideas?

    Anti theft.
If somebody hot wires your car while wearing shorts it blasts them in the balls with pepper spray. I've seen the infomercials for it, don't tamper.

Oh yeah, this place can be fun. Welcome!

And since it ain't midnight here yet, and I just got home from work, I have a good excuse for only having had one beer.

Hahaha! I can’t compete with the funny responses, but it looks like a kill switch to me. Try starting your truck and the use a long stick to push the green button. Just in case.

Just ripped one out of a friends 2016 Limited. It had like 7 t-taps and one spliced wire I had to fix. Why do they insist on hacking the wiring on a new truck. They need to stop doing this crap.

@15whtrd already called it... aftermarket alarm. Check out Karr Security systems. Seems to be a favorite with dealers.

Thanks all for the replies. Need to tear this out of my 2016. Think it’s interferring with my remote start install.
