    Edit: glean (glean info) lol

I may as well introduce myself. It's time for me to get back into trucks. My last one was a lifted '78 F250 several years back. I'm really into researching the crap out of things and one off mods, though it's nice to have good support for typical mods.

I didn't realize the first gen Tundras had so much going for them, it's turned my attention. I wanted something between a compact and full-size truck and I'm pretty set on an access cab now. It'll just be a matter of finding the right one in a few months or so.

Of the possible issues, the #1 issue you want to avoid is a rusted frame.

Good luck with your quest, and cheers from Georgia.

Yup, pretty much. Especially up here. If I don't find one clean enough up here I may travel for one. Maybe between here and Florida? Are there good east coast states for rust-free vehicles? Trouble with that is import fees...

Yes, yes that does look awesome. Sir, you tease me with such awesomeness! o_O

South Carolina & Georgia are two states where you could find a clean, rust free 1st gen Tundra.

They use a good bit of salt in and around the Blue Ridge mountains, lots of rust buckets in that area. I am in Athens Georgia, just south of the salt line.
