Anyone know if you can run 17” steel rims on a 2019 tundra. I have a brand new set of toyo studded winter tires that are 285/70R17 that I had on my Tacoma that I just traded in.
They are pretty much the same size what’s on truck now just rim size is different.

Don't know of any steelies that work but OEM Rock Warrior and a couple other 17s do. The big break caliper is part of the issue.

Welcome. Check it out below. I think it depends on the offset of the wheel. Looks like any 17 inch Method wheel for this truck is 0 offset. I'm running that set up and it's really close to the caliper. Watch where the shop puts the weights for balancing. It's less than 1/4 clearance in think.

    Welcome to the forum!

If those wheels came off of a Tacoma, the bolt pattern will be different

Not aware of any steel 17” wheels that’ll fit, but aside from Methods and the OEM Rock Warriors, there are also Icon Six Speeds and Icon Rebounds, both with +25mm offset. I’m running the Titanium colored Rebounds.

Hello everyone! i'm new to the form and i have a question, does anyone know if 17 inch black rhino stadium wheels will work on my 2019 tundra platinum? i do know that this topic of wheel has been beaten to death, but i really need to know.

    Thanks

    Brent

BTW i'm putting a 3 inch toy tech lift so i can put 35 inch tires on the beast

What offset are they. Mine are +25 . I have just under 2.5" lift and with 285/75r17 (very close to 34") with the wrong offset 35s could rub with a 3" lift if you dont do some trimming
