Long time forum follower and now I wanted to get some feedback from you guys. Just switched from a 17 4Runner to a 18 Tundra CrewMax and love it!

    Current mods:
    Front tints 30%
    Yellow Lamin-X foglight covers
    SuperNova H4 LED Headlight bulbs
    Black TRD Pro shift knob
    Black chrome exhaust tip
    Tyger side steps
    Husky liners
    Peragon bed cover

Future Mods (What I need your advice on):
    Rims - SCS Ray 10s, Method MR701, MR312, Racelines?
Tires - Falken AT3Ws or Toyo Open Country II
Not sure what size to get. Actually don't mind the current stance but would like to fill the gap with a bit more . Don't really want to do a body chop or big lift.
Lift - Lift kit, spacers, or Bilstein 5100 or 6112
    Rear TRD Sway bar

If you knew what you know now, what would be your advice? Thanks! BTW this forum makes you spend too much money. Haha

What were your deciding factors for the lift? And what did you go with?

I would avoid the spacers. Buy once cry once. Go with a mid range lift. Toytec and Eibach make a great 3/1 lift. All of those wheel choices look good to me! SCS makes hub centric wheels which is appealing to me. I have toyo open country AT 2s currently and I love them. I also know people with falkens that swear by them so I think either choice is a good one.

Do you have LED fog lights behind the lamin-x covers?
I also have the supernova v.4s and I just ordered some yellow film for my LED fog lights to help out when the White light from the LEDs basically disappears in rain and some lighting conditions.

No LEDs yet. But it has a decent enough effect that it's not an immediate need.

If your not off-roading a lot, get the rear sway bar. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner...
The rear sway bar along with the LED bed lights and Pop and lock tailgate lock are among some of my favorite mods. Some of the cheapest and easiest to install too!

I was admittedly skeptical. I thought people were just being overly optimistic about its performance, nope. I have a long sweeping curve at the end of my road. The first time I drove it after install I was impressed. Same with on/off ramps. The truck almost encourages you to throttle into the turns.. it won’t make the big ol truck a sports car. But it’s worth it.

Mainly what I was planning on using the truck for - mostly slow, rocky trails. Details on my build thread.

Bilstein wouldn’t be a bad choice at all, if it were me I’d go with the 6112’s in the front and 5160’s in the rear. As for tires, I’d go with something in the 34” range, like a 295/70R18.

People here are telling you how to spend your money without having any idea how you use your truck. Take it with a grain of salt. Be honest with yourself and figure out how you want to use your truck, and then do the Mods to support that. There’s nothing wrong with the spacer lift if You arent going to destroy your truck off-road. If you are going to offroad, how often and how hard? Not everyone needs something crazy, but some people do. And let’s be honest some people have more money than sense. And that’s cool too! I sure wish I was one of them!

If you were going to go with the 6112’s why not just get Icon or Fox 2.5 coilovers. Not to far off in price IMO. Get the best and be done with the suspension upgrades.

Icon stage one isn’t 2.5s all around. I checked prices on Fox 2.5s all around. My bad.
