    Hi
I am thinking of vinyl wrap the chrome pieces of my bumper instead of plastidip.

    Have anyone done this?
    Where to buy?

    Thanks

yep bank account is running low from it..
My back bumper on my tundra is vinyl wrapped.

Look for graphics places in your area that does cars. Sometimes window tinting places do it too.

FYI make sure they use 3m products.

My back one was 150. What they charged the insurance company to do it.

You can have them painted for about the same price. I have my own paint equipment so I did my own but I only had about $60 in epoxy primer and paint. Just be sure to use epoxy primer on all the chrome pieces.

Read this first. Each company has it's own specialty when it comes to wraps. 3M in general is not the best for everything. 3M does have multiple product lines where one does perform better for what you're trying to do. Overall I've been using avery and oracal. I have my fenders wrapped in avery material and I've abused the crap out of them. The scratches heal with the use of a heat gun better than the 3M stuff does. Here's a link to help you.
