Hi everyone! I was planing so upgrade the sound system on my 2005 SR5 Crew Cab Tundra. Its the normal stock Toyota Head unit and speakers (non-JBL). I was just asking what I should do in terms of after market hardware and installation. I like alot of bass especially in the lows (like really deep lows) and clean mids and highs. I was thinking about getting a cheep Dual Double DINN head unit and new Infinity Audio door speakers and throwing a decent sub in the back with a dedicated amp. What would you guys recommend I do and buy? Im trying to keep price as low as possible.

Swap out door speakers and add a sub with a 5 channel amp with high level inputs running everything. Keep stock deck.

I do think the deck is capable, but here is where the issue is, I would like to play music from my phone, BUTTT the stock unit only has CD, cassette and FM/AM. I was thinking about disassembling the unit and soldering a 3.5mm cord on the magnetic head in the cassette area. I have a 3.5mm to cassette adapter but the sound quality is bad.

Bluetooth adapters that broadcast to your radio are super cheap now.

Or.... ignore your radio and install a Bluetooth amp that runs your whole system.
Your phone will automatically connect when you turn on the truck and all your controls are on your phone.

I run this system on my bike.
    1500w Bluetooth amp
    (6) 5.25s
    (2) tweeters
    10” subwoofer

I have a tablet mounted in the fairing, but I can play off my phone as well.

You can find subwoofer boxes made to go behind the seat of your model truck. Tons of option online.

So I have been digging, and im thinking about getting something like this : https://www.radioshack.com/products...4GRYCxIDDdVMEKDKknjWkQefwnnv1uHIaAsGCEALw_wcB

    or

    https://www.ebay.com/i/110624674020?chn=ps

I still want radio functionality as well as the CD Player. I could wire the modulator to the ACC on the radio. And im thinking Kicker, Infinity Audio, or Sony for the door speakers. I think the tweeters are fine (I just like a lot of bass) and I am planing on a sub in the back.
