What is this and what’s wrong that it’s dripping water into the cab? It drips, probably, close to 1/3 cup a day. It only started doing it in the last few days. I thought it was just kids getting into the truck, it’s been raining the last few days, but took a closer look and definitely saw it dripping through the square hole. A little insight/direction from someone here would be great.

I just printed your 1-7 instructions. Now it's to decide if I want to try to fix it tonight with an extended weekend overland trip planned to start early tomorrow.

It doesn’t take much more than 30 mins. Do it today/tonight and it’ll be dry and fixed for your trip. Just remove wipers, then the cowl, brush away old rubber gaskets if still there and apply silicone around the inserts. Dry time should be 20 mins then reassemble.

Another leaky spot is where the cabin roof weatherstripping (front to back) meets the top of the rear window gasket. The leak goes in the slot where the weather strip connects into a slot above the rear window seal. The water then rolls along the gasket and manifests itself inside next to the rear seat between the floor board threshold and rear door(s).

Just pull that weatherstrip up and caulk that slot. Slide strip back in. Fixed. You should also put a bead of caulk along the entire length of the strip as the two double sided OEM tape pieces hold it down have probably worn out as well.

A little update. I finally got around to doing this. The biggest problem was getting a stuck wiper off. Once that was done, it was easy sailing. Looking forward to a whole lot less condensation in the cab.

This thread should be sticky'ed somewhere. I keep meaning to do mine, but the couple times it has leaked it's been so minor, it's almost more trouble than it's worth to fix it.

Beyond the first time I posted this, that was my problem. I had one time that water was really coming through, then it was a little trickle every now and then. What was frustrating was the higher humidity I’d get and the increased condensation on the inside. It feels good to actually have it fixed, though.
