    Hello Tundra Folks!
New to this forum but have been Land Cruiser lover for a long time! Been looking for a truck for a while and have found one that I am going to gamble on. I am getting a salvaged 2007 TRD Double Cab with 78,000 miles on it. Carfax at least indicates a stellar service history despite the truck having been stolen once and most recently the back seat fire. I know this is risky but for a great price and all of the parts necessary to repair seemed like a potential good deal. Will have a lot of questions for this board and am welcoming any and all input. Attached some pictures of the truck in its current condition. Thanks in advance! tundra_1.jpg tundra_4.jpg tundra_9.jpg tundra_10.jpg tundra_2.jpg tundra._5.jpg tundra_6.jpg tundra_1.jpg tundra_4.jpg tundra_9.jpg tundra_10.jpg tundra_2.jpg Thanks!

Welcome Matt. I wonder if that fire was caused by a faulty stereo install?

Not sure. Was hoping to get some insight from you all. The wire is visible in two of the pictures.

I don't recognize that wire as being OEM. I'm thinking perhaps power from an amp to a sub behind the seat?

So just looked it up and it seems like that's where the woofer wiring runs through, any other pictures you have of that area could help

Factory woofer or aftermarket? Was wondering if the wire went to the break light at the top of the cab

Should be factory, and it goes to both. It moves up the side, then it splits around the door handle area and on goes to the woofer and the other to the high mount brake light.

Nah, that cab light wire runs beneath the door sills and up behind the rear cab panel.

It does and it has a couple other things on that circuit but those are the main two with a large power draw
