I have a SunJoe Spx3000 and love it....works great, enough power for washing....I use it with one of the inexpensive foam cannons from Amazon too

I was actually looking at this one since it's so affordable. Glad to hear a good review. I'll probably go with it.

Oh baby! Take it to a self serve wash bay. Just take your own products and towels.

This is a good idea. If I do this, do I need to sit there for a while after I'm done to allow the Bead Maker to cure some before driving?

Nah, you’ll be fine going home. I don’t think driving it will hurt it. It just takes time for it to fully cure. If you want to play it safe, just apply the Hydro2 at the wash, and Bead Maker when you get home.

Meguiars Gold Class soap and hot water make an enormous amount of suds!

This might be a dumb question but do different CG soaps produce different amounts of suds? I watched a few of their videos and they use the Honeydew soap. I have the Tough Mudder and the wide mouth cannon I got around Black Friday. Today was the first time using it. I didn't measure my soap for the cannon but I think I used maybe an ounce..might have been a bit less. Did the 2 Bucket Method for washing. I was trying to figure out how to dial in the amount of foam that comes out. Any tips? Also how many canisters do you go through per wash? I used an entire canister on my truck...maybe had a tiny bit left.
Now I am looking at clay bar stuff for the first detail this year after winter. Any suggestions?

Edit: Answered my first question. I found their Soap chart.

I use Honeydew and am very happy with it. I can do 2-3 trucks with one canister.

As for clay bar, I prefer the Nanoskin mitt. Reusable, easier, and faster than clay.

I bought the kit with a gallon of soap...so I have a while before I switch. But that’s good to know the honeydew is good stuff.

After watching a few videos on how to get more suds I think I may understand this thing better. Turning the red tip controls the fan thickness of the spray and rotating the knob adjusts how much soap is sprayed from the canister. I didn’t measure how much soap I put in but was about an oz. I have seen others say 2-3 oz per container. For reference I have the 32 oz container. The next time I use it I’ll pay more attention to the settings. I don’t really see an issue using a container per vehicle wash since you need to clean it out after each use but in a professional setting could understand trying to control costs by not using too much.

I did have the truck and driveway covered in foam. I just wasn’t sure that the “thickness of the suds” was the same.
