Did you check the spare tire pressure?

At nearly 12 years old I'd says the battery in the tire pressure sensor is probably dead. Time for 4 new sensors..in my opinion

Great thought on the spare tire check.
Have never worked with tire pressure sensors. Can I replace batteries myself or do I go to a tire place?

I had the same issue. I filled the spare. Light went off. Good luck.

Filled spare tire with air. It was almost flat. Light did not go out/ Had to initiate a reset as described in owners manual. It took 20 minutes to reset. Light is now out.
    Thanks for all the input.

I guess that it is for spare tire sensor proximity that the damn spares (I'm thinking 3rd gen) are installed at the factory with the spare tire air valve pointing UP where you CANNOT air it up. I turned mine around. It does about leave the chain an inch or two short for getting the spare let down onto the ground and getting the support bracket removed from the lug holes. But I carry 2x6's (wood) in my truck for just such events (as well as being able to get a jack further up off the ground).
