My truck has Firestone Destination LE2 tires on it now but will need replacing soon. I'm looking at something just a little more aggressive without going to a MT. Does anyone have any comments/experience with the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo3 tires?

    This is on tire rack,315/70/17
    BFG KO2=$1454.95

    Bridgestone AT REVO3x5=$1409

    Continental ATx5=$1255.85

    Cooper AT3 XLTx5=$1299.95

    General AT2x5=$1356.50

    Hankook ATMx5=$1296.50

    Kumho roadventurex5=$1233.10

    Yokohama G015x5=$1316.15.

I think it’s a good tire, solid reviews on YouTube and tire rack. I might choose the less known brands just to be different, everyone has KO2’s

I get that we shouldn't blindly buy into something just bc the masses have it, but isn't that also like saying, "I drink RC Cola because everyone else likes coke/pepsi"?

Buy what makes the most sense to you (performance vs cost vs usage) and who gives a #$%&U what other people use. If that means KO2s, then so be it...

@DividedSky whoa wtf? To be honest, most people get the KO2’s for the looks I never crapped on the proven performance of that tire, I don’t know who got your panties all bloody but it’s just information I’m putting out there. Some of the tires I’ve mentioned perform just as well or better than the KO2. I don’t give a fuck what other people use that’s why I’m totally fine with a tire majority of this group don’t use.

Sorry if that came across harsh in any way. All I was trying to say is that people should not buy a tire bc it is what other people have (so I agree with you here), or because other people don't have it. Buy whatever you want to buy and don't worry about other folks.

Not saying you put down the KO2s, or that I disagree with your assessment that a lot of people buy them just bc others did as well. Only saying that I would not buy them bc others have them, and I wouldn't remove them from the list bc of that either.

The revo 3 is very new. I had the revo 2 for about 40k and they were pretty nice on the road, not loud even at the end of life

Thanks for the response. Hopefully this isn't gonna turn into a negative thread. Wasn't what I was hoping for

Hopefully they are better than the revo at2.

I had a set and they were terrible.
I only got 20k out of them with street use on my 4Runner

Did you have the "P" or the "LT" tires?

    Not nearly enough room here!
Wife had 'em on her Pilot a few years ago. They performed well enough but the more they wore, the louder they got. We've switched to Michelin's LTX Defenders.

My friend got the Revos for his F-250. They were LTs. He had no major complaints except being overpriced compared to the Yokohama's he previously had. Check out the Cooper ST Maxx if you need beefy sidewalls otherwise the Cooper AT3 LXT. Just a thought.
