I placed an order for an 80oz bottle. I'm going to try on my Tundra and he's going to try on his taco

They probably did the bed liner to show that it wont discolor or leave residue, and you can use it on all surfaces. I'm defiantly gonna try it but I'm away for work, but close to Adam's polishes just might run by there and check it out.

I went ahead and ordered a bottle. Since the durability is only 6-9 months, perfect paint correction shouldn’t be as necessary. Just have to figure out what vehicle to put it on.

I'd imagine that this will make bedliners slippery when the least bit wet, even though they have a rough texture. If I ever coated my bedliner with something like this, I'd end up slipping and falling out of the bed onto my head!

I'm definitely purchasing...I just need to figure out how I'm going to keep out of the elements for the curing period especially here North of the Wall.

OK, so I got a new truck, factory finish. I have only washed it a couple of times. Would this be a product I'd use? I mean do a good wash and dry and use this instead of some wax?

It's pretty much a step above waxing. There's alot of videos on YouTube about ceramic coating cars. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time watching videos when you start, it's fascinating what the coating does to vehicles.

Had a buddy from work ceramic coat his vehicle along with his wheels and complete exhaust. The vehicle is a few years old and the car AND exhaust looks brand new like it just rolled off the lot. Not sure what brand but when he said it was 5 grand to do it i couldn’t believe it. Looks amazing though!

Subbing for someone's results. Saw their ad easier today. I just can't make myself pay a couple Grand or more ceramic coat, plus I don't know if there's a shop around here that even does it.
I do have a guy that'll do a full detail and paint correct for about 250... Wondering if I came in behind that with this Adams stuff if it might be a decent alternative?

If you get all that done for 250, all the hard work is done. You might look into getting some CQuartz and applying it yourself.

Would I have to strip off the Polish he applies before using another coating like CQuartz? Or apply over it?

I probably need to get something done soon. Road construction going on in front of my home has all kinds of crap kicked up.

Yes strip the polish and add the ceramic coating. Adams has a strip wash to take off polish and wax. Use that then ceramic coat.

It doesn't get much easier than Carpro Essence followed by Cquartz UK 3.0. Have used this combo on many vehicles with great results. You're not going to get the longevity in a spray coating (I've tried most). If you need to compound, Carpro Clearcut is a great combo with Essence. They both are easy to remove as well which makes it quicker and easier.

I would use Carpro Essence prior to any coating, even a spray coating to clean and prime the paint for it.

Hmm... I wonder if I bought the CQuartz if I could talk the guy into applying it instead of the polish he normally uses so I didn’t have to strip the polish off and recoat.

He probably has to do the polish after the compound to get it shiny. The compound is abrasive and will dull the surface, hence the polishing step. Typically a polish will not leave as much of a layer as wax, unless it is a polish/wax combination product.
