... It's a very definite possible maybe that I would go with a Cement Platinum DC and TRD package. Love that color. Biggest gripe by me is not having a decent sound system, BSM and heated/cooled seats for the money it costs for a Pro. If I were going to stay with a Pro I would probably opt for the Voodoo blue/white as 2nd choice. Was talked in to the black as that was what they were sent. The finance manager is a friend of mine and has TRD Pro 2015 CM in black and his looked really nice when he showed me it all primped. The black is really nice as long as you don't drive it and get dirt on it lol. Crewmax isn't worth the loss of bed space and miss the underseat storage of my previous DC. I will be adding the uderseat storage option for mine at some point, just a PITA to do all the cutting and such on top of paying 230.00 some dollars for the unit. No doubt the resale value will hold but my plan at this time is to drive it to 200k plus. I am hoping the electronics will hold out that long. My extended warranty goes until 125k, only time will tell. Don't get me wrong, I really like the truck but at this point the trade-offs form one vs the other is truly a coin toss. My practical side is prevalent currently and can change from week to another. Next week I'll probably be back to preferring the Pro. YMMVJMHO for this week ;) Me, myself and Irene.

Dude, if you plan to have that thing for 200k, shouldn't you love it? Sell yours now while it's fresh and new and find what you want.

On the sound system part it doesn't matter what you do. Any stock tundra is terrible.

Very good point and it's not without consideration.
Wasn't aware of that, plan on putting a Kenwood CarPlay HU along with whatever speaker system seems to meet my needs. I have heard the change in HU alone has a significant improvement on the sound quality as well. I don't need my brains rattled when playing but definitely would like more depth, bass and clarity.

I studied Tundras for a few weeks before seeking out the configuration I settled on. Looked at all the details and whittled them down to exactly what to shoot for. I arrived at the dealer with a comprehensive definition, only part not decided was the color. There were only two in California that met my requirements, one in SoCal, one in Sacramento. Sacramento was closest and second choice in color (Blazing Blue Pearl, no Barcelona Red in the state). The dealer (Thurston in Ukiah, California) was very accommodating, did not try to talk me into something else (although I made it clear what I wanted in the beginning and what I was flexible on - not much).

It was worth it to go in prepared. No regrets whatsoever, I wouldn't trade my 2018 Tundra for any other vehicle on the road. I would have liked the price to be slightly lower but we both negotiated an acceptable price (I was a cash buyer so loans were not on the table).

I’m in the same boat. If I could do it all over I would get a DC.

This week if I had to do over... I would still stay with a TRD Pro but would go with the Blue. Next week, who knows.
