Iv read a few of the older threads already but none seem to be the same issue. Mine use to start up and idle at 1/4 now on start up its at 1/2 and after 10mu s it settles but is still higher then normal. Any ideas? 04 tundra v8 thx

I thought it might be possible if you had fresh oil that may give you a little better oil pressure or something wrong with the new filter.

Idle control valve could be faulty. I would first check if the throttle body (clean with throttle body/choke cleaner) is dirty and clean the MAF sensor (with MAF sensor cleaner) and this usually resolves most issues.

I think she (the truck) is going though menopause and is being a little extra in the drama department. Lol
