Would anyone know how this functions or if it does at all? I have hooked up my phone through the axillary jack and can hear phone conversations through the stereo. I still need to hold the phone for the microphone.
I have no bluetooth or phone button on the steering wheel. I bought the truck used and it didn't come with a owner's manual. 20190104_154158.jpg 20190104_154154.jpg

It's an aftermarket mic. If the steroid isn't stock then it would be through the aftermarket stereo. Using aux wont activate it but USB might

Stock radio. No USB. I guess I'll have to put a bunch of lights in to use the switch spot :)

Random shot in the dark - any chance it's your cable from phone to Aux?
I had a usb plug for the power port, whenever I used it I lost radio signal. Unplug it & radio was fine. New plug & no interference.
I wonder if your cable is some sort of cheaper 1 function cable v. a 2 function cable - if such a thing even exists.
    Anyway a thought. Good Luck.
