Upgrade from Tacoma to Tundra

its a Speed Demon 40"inch double row so far no complaints I just installed it on Monday so I only turned it on about 3 or 4 times but it looks amazing

That's awesome. As I've always said, I will always have a soft spot for tacos, but it seems like this forum is mostly comprised of dudes who have "grown up", and I mean that in the most positive way possible. I knew I made the right choice when I made the switch when I had my cab full of comfortable passengers and a bed full landscaping material and still was able to accelerate like a bat out of hell onto the highway.
I still hang around tacomaworld because I still love tacos and it's a great forum though.

 

same here I still have love for tacomas but its all bout tundras from here on out I came really close to getting the new Tacoma when the new models came out but after test driving it and reading all the reviews about it being gutless and no power I new the tundra was the better choice

 

Attached is a wheel option I went with. Not sure if they would take the abuse of off road but if you're keeping it on the street, they are perfect. If you're interested, here's the link to the site/page I bought them from.

I did the same thing last Saturday. 2013 DCSB TRD for 2016 Tundra. My wife wanted the Tundra when we got the Taco originally so it was just a matter of negotiating when I showed her the Tundra I liked. Put a Tonneau cover and all weather mats in yesterday. Bay steps on the upgrades.

 

do you plan on painting all the chrome?

 

yea I plan on painting the bumpers silver to match like the platinum edition but first I want to get some wheels and lift I hear its kinda hard to paint over the chrome but I shall find out

 

I went to an autobody place today and they said I would be better getting it wrapped in vinyl cause the paint would eventually chip.

 

im not sure how well the vinyl would match I would need to see it done before I do it some people say the chrome will need to be sand blasted first to keep paint from chipping I will do some more research and see what I can find out

I had a 3/1 toytec lift and 18" XD 818 Heist wrapped with 295/70r18 Toyo Open County MT
