Whrn I purchased my ARE Z Series topper I didn’t realize that lighting was an option. I saw that it had LED strips as an option, but assumed it came with hardwired or battery dome light standard. My last 2 ARE toppers did. I don’t need anything expensive or elaborate....but I do need some type of light back there. I’d even be ok with battery since my last toppers dome light killed my battery more than once when I left it on! Anyone have any ideas?

I have two of these sitting on the side rails of my topper. If your topper is carpeted they have Velcro on the back to hold them in place. If you try to Velcro them to the top they’ll probably fall down. Doesn’t hurt to try for a few bucks! E63F338D-D745-4308-8E72-AE19525C36F3.jpg

How did you mount your lights from him? I am looking in to LEDs but my ARE interior is carpeted.

I mounted the strips on the sides under the accessory bed rails. The front ones I stuck to the bottom of the front window frame.
