I'm pretty anal about squeaks, rattles, etc. in my vehicles. My 2016 CM SR5 has about 1,700 miles on it. When I hit a small bump I get an occasional squeak or even a high pitched rattle. It's pretty subtle and you can't really hear it with the radio on or really even with the window up, which makes me think it's on the outside of the truck (like maybe something in the side view mirror or whatever). Has anyone had any luck having the dealer help with something like this? It's pretty darn subtle so I'm afraid they'll look at me like I'm crazy, if I can replicate it at all for them to even hear. It's done it since I brought it home, but I didn't think too much of it since it was so subtle and I thought it would maybe work itself out.

I sent my 2016 TRD pro to the dealership twice for an annoying squeak in the bed area. I can duplicate it by driving slow and hitting bumps or just closing a door. It's maddening. They told me it was fixed last week. Took the truck home and still an issue. Now they are telling me they have to take the bed off to trouble shoot. They have no idea what it is. I don't know if I want them taking the bed off.

I took my 2016 CM SR5 to the dealer for a slight squeak in the front passenger door. It's a pretty constant squeak that occurs on any road that isn't newly paved. I showed the rep where it was and told him exactly where we push to stop the squeak. He said they didn't hear the squeak, but the tech took off the panel and added padding. The squeak is still there. I've taken multiple new vehicles (Camry, Rav, 4Runner, Tundra) to several Toyota dealerships for obvious squeaks/rattles and NONE of them have ever been fixed. I'm starting to think they don't even look into the issues.

I've noticed a rattle while driving w the back window down think it's the tailgate trim plastic at top pass side, or poss and bed plugs. Also a squeeze when I shut the drivers door, sounds like a plastic rubbing in the front clip, I'll figure it out but the dealer will definitely spend some time on it before I do

Bummer. Doesn't sound like the dealer is much help - I'll take mine in and see if I can replicate it, who knows if they'll do anything. Annoying......

Unfortunately new vehicles will make some noise here and there until things settled. Tundra or other Toyota models for that matter is not a Lexus, BMW or MB.... I too experienced it when I got my 2016 CM SR5 TRD 4x4 but now it's gone after 3500 miles or so... Also if you install LED light bar near or through the bumper i found that the mounting bracket can make squeeking noise even with the slightest bump. I had to loosen the mount and greased it. GONE. No more noise...

My 16 Pro CM has 14000 miles so not a break in issue. Toyota mechanics originally thought it was a bushing issue and that it was resolved. No suck luck. Any time I close a door, step on running board, or hit a small bump I hear the squeak. I drive with the windows up and radio on now. Very frustrating!
