Just wanted to see if anyone with a 3G Pro has done their own brakes. Many DIY but just want to make sure that there is no special procedure with the Pro brakes. TIA.

I don't have a Pro, and I haven't had to mess withb my brakes yet, so to answer your question, no I haven't personally but they are the same setup as the rest of the 07+ stock brakes.

Welcome, I edited my first post to be more specific.

Have you ever done brakes before? Front or rear?

I have on a number of vehicles but I am no expert nor a mechanic by trade. I am very mechanical and like to do my own stuff if possible.

Nothing special or different with the Pro brakes. I replaced my rotors and pads on my 15' Pro about 15k miles ago.

I went with powerstop rotors and ceramic pads. It was their tow kit. A big difference and I love them. I know a few others that have the same kit and love them too. Can't beat the price compared to other kits out there.

Good to know, thank you. I have used EBC and hawk pads in the past and I remember having a lot of brake dust from the EBC. the brake dust left the film I couldn't get off with simple green and scrubbing. I had to use a harsher chemical. I don't want to go through that again. How are they with brake dust?

I changed mine out about 3 months ago. Pretty straight forward. I went with the powerstop Z36 towing package
