    drivers side. Drivers door. I guess my foot has worn down the paint.
    Any remedies for this besides keeping my right foot off when I get out of the truck

    Get it repainted and apply www.xpel.com paint protection, you will not have any more concerns. It’s really tough material.

    Touch it up and then put on some sill guards, they are on my to-do list at some point. I'm having the same issue develop...

    Painting it will be noticeable unless professional and it’ll get re-scuffed. Get some premium sill guards that overlap the area.

    I like the griptape idea personally! But the best protector from this sort of thing would be PPF. As someone said above ^ you can buy a strip kit from XPEL that comes in small widths to run. Do your research on install before ordering. I am yet to install PPF, from my knowledge, it is a tough one to perfect.
