    BDS 3/2 leveling
I am new to the site, and know this has been discussed, bit easier to post again rather than read 8000 threads. I have a 14 Tundra with a BDS 3/2 leveling kit. I want to run my stock rims (18x8.0 +60mm) and run larger tires. I am pretty sure i can fit 275/70s (33.2x10.8) without any rubbing at all on the upper control arm, but could i run 285/70s (33.9x11.5)? I have the worn down stock tires on now and there is not much space between tire and the upper control arm. I have heard the 2014 is tricky when running stock rims, so looking for advice from a fellow 14 owner with a leveling kit. Any info will be appreciated

Short answer- 275/70's will work, 285 will probably work but it's iffy.

Best thing you can do is go to a tire shop that you trust and do a test fit. Every tundra is different.

If you're dead set on 285 and want to keep the stock rims, invest in some wheel spacers (1.25 is best)

    Lesko,

I'm just learning more about our suspensions myself (I own a 2016 TRD packaged Crewmax) and mine hasn't been leveled yet, but seeing as how our Tundras came equipped with 275/65/18 tires and the 285/70's you want are just alittle taller and wider wouldn't adding spacers help clear the UCA? I don't know if that would present some minor rubbing issues on the flaps and all. Hang in there, I'm sure someone with more knowledge will help you out soon. EDIT ... I see Law was posting as I was typing. I told you someone would jump in here! Great forum with great members!!

By the way, I started a Sky Silver picture thread ... Love to see you post something in there and welcome to the forum.
