Why wouldn't you just supercharge what you have for 1/2 the price and have the equivalent of 8.55L N/A motor?
Fyi in order to properly supercharge a 7.0L motor, you would need a TVS2650, Which makes it custom. Go turbo if you go custom

thinking about it, stroking it without modifying the heads, that would jack up the compression ratio to around 12.5:1 which creates a whole different set of problems....

Kit comes with pistons, they didn't specify the c/r but it's probably dished to keep it at 10:1, doesn't mean you don't have to have head work done to flow enough air for 7 liters nor does it mention how much clearancing is required to allow the crank to rotate or how much strength we lose on our 6 bolt mains because of the clearancing

Well at least the price keeps coming down. 19k four years ago. Might be affordable in 2025!

Too much compression on the head is always a problem. Hopefully the relief port works good.

compression is only too much if it causes things to blow a little too early. Provided the bang occurs at the right time, then all is good

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
    Hell' nah!! o_O

IF...someone where to do this, you would almost certainly have to change/upgrade cams, valves, lifters, springs, etc.

I followed a thread on one of the other Tundra sites where a guy spent untold amounts of time and $$$ on cam mods. In the long run the engine ended up making less hp.
Also, while doing a job like this, you might as well port and polish.

All said, you could end up with a 20K + engine mod. There's a shit-ton of other mods that can make the truck as fast as anyone would ever need, for half that kind of money!

    Flux capacitor!
Read the very bottom line on the description of the engine. Customer still has to supply the long block for engine build. So that price isn’t everything you would need. Thats insane!CD9FDF5A-87AD-46D7-A645-49CF632FD7B3.jpg

Put a 7.0L (427 )Chevy in it and then you would have a complete crate engine for 12,000$. Why take a chance?

Uh, for $16,000 I'm looking at an engine swap to a LSX454 or something.
