So I was lucky enough to be able to purchase some new Pro takeoff rims (TPMS being swapped and rims being mounted as I write this) and I'm wanting to paint the red portion of the center caps. I'm thinking either a gloss black to match the rest of the cap, or else a dark gray.

Anyway, I guess this is a question for you paint guys, but what would I need to do to prep and paint these? Should I sand down the red parts a bit and then prime & paint? I'm pretty new to this type of stuff so any info would be much appreciated!

    What about a vinyl overlay?

Matt @DecalsByDesign could probably do this for you. A lot easier than painting and if you ever wanted to go back all you have to do is peel it off.

That's a really good idea! How difficult would it be to create something like that??

I think it should be easy, especially if you mail him one center cap. He probably can make it any color you want, maybe color match the truck.
    Reach out to him.
