Crew cab 8 foot bed

Is there any manufacturer building a 1/2 ton pickup in that configuration?

 

Looks like you’re going to have a hard time finding a half ton then, as no manufacturer makes a crew cab with anything longer than a 6’7” bed. And as a guy who drives an extended cab Chevy for a work truck, the DC Tundra’s backseat seems quite a bit larger in comparison. Bye Fellacia.

 

I thought the same thing...then I adjusted the front to where I would drive ...and sat in the back seat...perfect for a long drive....had the GF sit in the front (she's a grown ass woman 5'10 or so) and I sat in the back - plenty of room.

Then I put my daughter in the back with a friend, and asked if this would be OK for a 4 hour drive...no problem was the answer.

I was impressed with the rear seat room of the Double cab....plenty of room in the back for grown ass people. Plenty of space for stuff. but I don't need an 8ft bed...I was not a fan of the roof line / bed of the CM...

 

there's a company that makes the Dodge Ram Mega-Cab with an 8' bed. they even make trucks with 6-doors and a long bed. It's definitely do-able, but Toyota just doesn't want to...
