So, when was your first scratch?

Just picked up my first. Rear drivers side door. Dammit. Just over 2 months old, still under 2k miles. I park far away with nobody around for a reason.

At least the hard part is over now. It's only the first one that really hurts.

Backed into my pressure washer and scratched the passenger side bedside...

I was so mad. I had the truck for only a few months... I'm still mad about it haha.

Driving to work 2 days after driving it home and a wheel cover fell off a scrap metal truck a couple lanes over, while it didn't get the body I watched it come across 3 or 4 lanes of I-70 traffic while I'm praying it doesn't bounce in the air. Thank God it didn't but it made a heck of a noise hitting the lower A frame, I was checking gauges the rest of the way in and crawled around looking for damage when I got to work.

Backed into a small branch from a small tree and scratched the passenger side of my bed. Luckily for me the turnsignal got the worst of it. I've since replaced the turnsignal with my Spyders and alittle wax and buffing took out nearly all of the rest. You wouldn't even know it's there unless I told you.

Dragged bumper on the right rear corner doing a little off roading. Scratched the chrome and you can only see it if you're laying on your back. Also drug transmission crossmember over a rock and scratched it too lol. During the same trip I must've picked up a rock and flicked it up into the front drivers fender where the wheelwell corner meets the side of the fender. A little touch up paint and all good. Also the bed caps tend to slide front to back about an eighth of an inch or more causing some chafing, so I removed them, put some dabs of silicone and reinstalled so it doesn't jiggle around anymore. I'm weird.

A month after I got my 2014: Wife backed my truck out of the garage with the garage door still down. Her excuse was (no shit), "I couldn't see it." I guess that pesky backup camera malfunctioned.

Last month: wife backed out of the drive in her car. Dented my fender and scuffed some paint on my truck. Bent her wheel, took her quarter panel down to bare metal, broke her wheel cover.

Never let your wife near your truck.

Oh, now she bugs me constantly about getting a new 4Runner. Not going to happen... Ever.

Lol many years ago my wife backed her car out of the garage and into my Durango (parked on the driveway) she called me when she was like 30 mins away from the house to tell me lol.

Apparently someone who didn't park centered within a spot...more so towards my spot. And I pull in after them parking centered...and they don't have sufficient room to exit.....equates to them keying my door.20160404_115440.jpg

Added a few more this weekend, caught some sage brush while shooting prairie dogs this weekend. Bought mine used, the previous owner must've scraped against a T post on the passenger side. Just adds character!
