    My first try on the was a fail. Used tinfoil between the fiberglass and tape. Made the fiberglass move to much and I cut the strips to small so it didn't cover correctly when done. Gonna try again in a couple of weeks. Good idea and write up.

    Thanks bud! Try using a mold release agent. I applied pretty liberally on the tape and the glass popped right off

    I was impatient and tinfoil always worked on speaker boxes. Didn't wanna wait on any of the releasing agents to get to my house. Gonna Amazon Prime some and try again. Gotta order the paint too.
