Don’t know what size bed you have. I had the supreme on my Tacoma. Worked fine.

    Hello Robb

Just wondering how easy are they to remove? Are they quite heavy? Thank you in advance.

They are decently heavy. But my wife and I taken it on and off. Definitely a 2 person job if you want to save your paint! Other than that they are just 4 clamps. Make sure to get good foam weather strips.

Thanks for the link, the supreme would be perfect. Sadly, i cant find a ranch dealer, and they wont return my emails. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if i could find one.

Neither Leer, Raider, Century (Exact same as Leer, even the same molds), ARE, Snugtop, nor ATC make a tall fiberglass shell for 2014-2018 Tundras. The only company that makes them is Ranch (Thank you rvrats2). Unfortunately there are no Ranch dealers in the west. It looks like I'll have to order a Ranch shell through my ATC dealer. Apparently ATC and Ranch are sister companies, and you "can" order either product through either dealer. Fingers crossed my ATC dealer is willing to do something that takes a little more effort on their part.

I've got a decked drawer system and I'd like to be able to put my mountain bikes in the back, and sleep back there from time to time. Even though they're not the prettiest shells, a Leer 122 is SUPER functional when you're camping and sleeping back there, and I wish they made one for the current Tundra.

My only other option is a custom aluminum shell, which is quite functional, but looks awful.

Not sure what body style you have, but Jeraco makes one for a DC 6.5' bed.

This is fantastic news, thank you JMB. I have a DC 6.5' bed.

Jerico doesn't have any dealers west of PA, so it might be a 3 day drive to pick it up... but at least somebody makes one!

What cap makes/models have a pass-through or window that opens from the rear of the cab to inside the truck bed?

Is a slider window the only option out there?

I have a completely removable one that also folds down. It’s a century (made by leer)

All of them do as far as I know. With my SnugTop it was a $120 option. When I got my Leer for my Tacoma it was a $100 option.

I see that SnugTop has a whole bunch of models... which do you have and has it been good to you?

I have the XTR Gen 1.

For me the XTR follows the lines of the Tundra very well. It has served me very well. I am glad I paid for the reinforced 500lb roof. It took a hell of a beating during the summer hail storms and did not get totaled. If the gel coat is broken the topper is usually totaled. The body shop just had to refinish and repaint the topper.
My boys Leer, it did not have the reinforced roof, gel coat was broken in multiple places and the insurance had to replace his topper.
I would recommend the reinforced roof and fold down window.

Here's a good picture of what I was talking about the lines following the Tundras lines. All the brands make good toppers. I just chose this one because it suited me the best.20180504_142606.jpg

So if a guy had six kids under the age of 10 and wanted them to be able to move from the cab to the box without detection, would a fold-down or slider window be the way to go?

    (asking for a friend)

Fold down or removable. Less chance of breaking
