Anyone have experience with the ridge grappler’s being bad? I think mine have something wrong with a belt. Truck was pulling to the right, then I switched my front tires and then the truck pulled to the left. Then I changed the left tire out with the like-kind spare and then the truck drove good. Tires have less than 2000 miles. Anyway, discount tire should not have a problem exchanging the tire. Anyone experience anything different in getting your tire replaced?

Ok, thanks. Wasn't expecting anything less. I figured a bad tire from a reputable company is pretty rare. I'll be calling them first thing in the morning.

No issues here. Just rotate and balance every 7500 miles at least to avoid vibration.

No issues with mine. Did the first rotation myself at 5000. And called to let them put it in my records. I did pay an extra $50 per tire for the no questions asked replacement. Discount tire is where I purchased mine. Good luck. D

Called them this morning and they’ve ordered a new tire, should be here 2-3 days. I guess 285/75-17 is not incredibly common. I do have the certificates.

One more thing...somewhat related... At what point do you need to say, look that's too much lead to balance the tire. I need a different tire. One of the tires used 2 ounces to balance. The others are between a quarter and a half ounce.

You might want to check your math on that one.

I had 20oz of weights on one wheel...what does that indicate?
