    Flux capacitor!
I was just checking diode dynamics website to see what new products they had for our Tundras. This is a cool product and well thought out! Someone with a 2018 needs to try this out. 828E0765-2EDE-4E68-BDB4-F1526EF061B8.jpg

Their lights are pretty decent quality. I got the lower grill one and Am very happy with them as they fit my budget. Came w everything needed for install and wiring.

For the light output, did you get the “driving” one or the “wide” one?

also, is there a separate switch you install, or does the harness just make them go on when you turn on your brights?

I got the driving but ended up changing the two outer lenses to wide after. I wired it up to a relay to my brights myself. The wiring that comes with it comes with it’s own switch. I didn’t want it so I just did it to my brights. I still need a switchpro to move it to.

    Tastefully enhanced...
For more peripheral lighting to the sides while flying at night...cheaper, less quality LED bars one can 100% get away with their spot beam as you get a lot of scatter from them...high quality LEDs the beam focus is what you pay for...

I have the amber fog pattern of these lights and love them. Give great side to side light like a fog but more adjustability in these.

I have this light kit in a box and hope to install in the next week or so. I have the Setrab cooler from Nick and initial measurements appear to work, but it will be tight. I might have to shave a bit off the back of the grill. Stay tuned!

I have the pro lightbar in SAE fog.

Here is a night shot of the driving lights with my LED headlights. This was about 15ish feet away.

Here is a night shot of the driving lights with my LED headlights. This was about 40ish feet away.

My truck on the right of this picture. As you can see, the light output is bright enough to be seen during the day.

How is the mounting in the middle location? My only qualm with this location is it will look
out of place with having to revamp the brackets. Any up close pics of the grill?

I have SS3 max fogs in yellow. So I have plenty foreground lighting. Looking to add some more down range lighting though.

I have a 2021 Platinum and the grill has a horizontal opening that the light bar is able to shine through with little obstruction.

Close up of bracket and light bar through the horizontal opening.

Full view of the grill and light bar.

You should be good, thats the grille the kit was designed around. Only thing I am not sure about that would be nice to know is if the tranny cooler would cause an issue. I have the MHX which seems to sit further back than the setrab but dont know for sure about the fit.

Yep, everything bolted right up. Aiming it is another beast in of itself. Mine ended up a little higher AFTER I put the grill back on.

I have not been motivated to take apart the grill to re-aim the lights. With that said, I am able to light up road signs as far as 1/4 mile away from me.

I just talked to Nick from Genuine Cooling Systems and he said this kit will not fit with the MHX transmission cooler kit he sells. I didnt specifically ask about the setrab but if anything that one looks further out so it wouldnt work either.

You didn’t have to add extender brackets to get the light bars to center up on either side of the Toyota badge? The photos on the DD site show the light bars sitting lower for the gap in the regular sr and sr5 grille.

I dont have it this kit, I was just commenting on what I thought was being asked about, which was that SR5 grille. It looks like it would fit in the same spot as the SR, SR5 and Limited grille because they dont have alternate size brackets. It looks like you could cut/rebend those brackets to adjust hieght a little lower pretty easily though.

My understanding is you could let it shine through the honeycombs or make something to raise it to the gap. Not sure if it’s still there but DD had a blurb about it not working with that grill due to height but could let it shine through with degraded performance I’m sure.

My question, are there pre-made extender brackets or are you just using that as a generic term? I could not find any brackets purpose built to raise that bar to work in that grill so was guessing one would have to figure something out.
