Yeah, it's a pretty big curve, I just can't get the vinyl to lay flat. I'm in the Sac area.
I want to get rid of all the ugly fake woodgrain.

It's all about where you start and which direction you pull. For those pieces, the best durability will come from starting on the small area. Lay that section flat to start, and then with either no heat or very little heat, pull the vinyl straight to one corner, and then the opposite. If that makes sense.

Based on a quick search and looking at photos. I would check out Prism Wraps and Pro Wraps. I've seen ProWraps on a ton of forum pages for signmaking. Don't hold me to either of these but it looks like they have a lot of big clients.

Your pic makes sense, but how do you get rid of the giant fold that happens?
I wondered about starting at that side first since that's the opposite of how I did it. I had all the bunched up vinyl at that corner.

I'm not sure. Having two sets of hands would help. As you can have one person hold the small end and you'd be able to pull both corners away from each other at the same time. Small parts and bumpers are the most difficult to wrap. huge flat surfaces become easy after doing lots of intricate work.

I’m in the middle of wrapping my RV, and it’s a huge chore...but little things like bumper caps scare me. I can’t see how everyone wraps them so well without getting creases on the curves.
I’d love black caps and mgm mirror housings, but I just know I’d mess them up.

It’s all about patience and technique. There are many things I still don’t understand about wrapping but I feel like there is something new to learn everyday. Going to CA in March to get trained even further.

They did it under the table, so to speak. The shop has a $150 minimum. He asked if I had $100 cash, I didn't, but we worked out an agreement.
They didn't do a perfect job, but it looks way better than the job I did. One of the pieces has round shiny spots on it where I assume a heat gun was to close. They cut a seam in that problem curve, you can't see it, but you can feel it. They also missed a spot on all 4 that I think they thought wouldn't show. I didn't notice it until I installed one of them back on the door. I was able to "patch" that part though, and I cant even tell. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the woodgrain around the climate control panel.

My first gen Tundra, 2004 crewmax and after the stock white paint would no longer hold a shine I did a full body wrap. I still have it.

LoL oh come on man!!!!, I have to say after having black Tacoma for 11 yrs, I do like my White Tundra. I would choose White over grey/cement color any day lol. But the worst color on Tundra is the old man Brown color. Any color is great over ever having to buy a Ford or Ram lol, even Brown. I know everyone likes to black out all the chrome these days. A month ago I just bought my 2014 Limited TRD Off Road Crewmax. I am sticking with the chrome, I will say chrome looks better on Black, but I am trying different details of chrome on my white tundra. I thought about making a White trim some how on the chrome grill, thought it would look better. All of the front is chrome besides the black in the bumper. What would you think.
My Name is Wes from Erie PA, and I do love this Tundra, it is my first full size truck, I would never go back to small truck, yes They do get bad MPG but so what. I will have this truck till mh 10 year mark. How many Dodge owners say that lol

For the guys that did front and rear bumper cap wraps, did you guys take the bumper caps off or do them in place? If they need to be removed I would rather just powder coat matte black............

Anyone know how much wrap I would need to buy to wrap the grille and hood bulge? Looking to get Oracal Charcoal Metallic Gloss 970RA-937.
