I’ve worked on a couple trucks over the years that were almost that bad. Butts, mould, and spitz shells. And yes, foam earplugs were used. In my nostrils!

When I worked at Jiffy Lube as a kid, people would come with all kinds of foul stuff. The worst was, this one cat had like 6 spit bottles no lids on and in South Carolina during the summer time that shit would ferment. Yep, up came breakfast and lunch. That was pretty damn nasty.

One time I had to take my truck in for a recall and figured I would bring the dog along and go for a walk while we wait. Problem was my dog ate a few French fries on the way and got carsick and puked on the floor. She felt bad about it.

Had no time to properly clean it, handed the keys over after a quick pick up job.

The worst one I had to deal with was my son borrowed my wifes car several years ago. Ford Focus. Him and 3 buddies went to this week long outdoor concert event about 6-8 hours from our house. They loaded the car with all their camping gear, food, etc and off they went.

This was the middle of summer. 35-40+ degrees celsius (95-104F) in a black car.

They came back at the end of the week and even with the windows closed you couldn't get within 2 feet of the car without wanting to puke. They had bought this jug of milk and forgot it in the back seat on the floor for the whole event. It exploded all under the passenger seat and fermented for the week.

What I couldn't believe was that they all drove for most of a day to get home in it and weren't violently ill and didn't think the smell was that bad.

Never did get the smell out completely. Was so disgusting.

Well, at least they aren’t litterbugs! But I would also be pretty embarrassed to have someone work on my car when it’s a filthy mess. At least pick up a few of them! I bet you smell like cigarettes just after being in that car.

Years ago my parents bought their very first brand new car. The one they had started to smell horrible, no amount of cleaning helped. You couldnt get close to that stinkin car. So out comes the back seat of the stinky car trying to figure out the horrible smell.
    They found the smell, and
I get a phone call saying I had cost them 13K (yep when a new car cost 13K) because my 3 year old had left Easter eggs in the car!!!
Most expensive egg they ever had !!

I’ve seen plenty of yellow “window tint” too.
