    Hey Guys,

Just purchased my 2016 Limited Crewmax/TRD Package after taking my 2006 Ridgeline to 200,000 miles. I absolutely love my Tundra! It already has 2000 miles on it in only 2 weeks---and that's just primarily driving around in the area! Lol

Anyways--I love this forum. So much great info--but it also can be confusing. Hahaha
So I went to America's Tire yesterday with the thought of possibly simply getting bigger and more aggressive tires on the TRD package 18inch rims like some of you guys have.

Well, after opening up some of the catalogs the sales guy gave me---I decided to go "all out" and upgrade to 20" wheels and tires.

Here is the problem: I am not sure they are going to fit without rubbing or CMC. I have a 3/1 Rough Country Level Kit. I purchased 20"x10" Fuel Full Blown Wheels with -12" off set (I actually thought I ordered the 20x9 but after looking at my paperwork last night I realized they are the 10" width). I also ordered a set of Cooper STT Pro in 295/65/20. The sales guy said it would fit and supposedly confirmed with Cooper and/or his computer calculation.

After reading through these forums as well as other Tundra forums I think this is way too big for my situation. Please advise!

    Thanks very much in advance!!!

295 should fit. You may need to do a CMC with that offset. I'd say get a test fit and go from there.
I would also see if you can get a 20x9 that way you'll have more options when it comes to tires.

    Welcome from South La buddy!

I don't think you'll have a problem with the tire size but the -12 offset will, I think, cause a rubbing issue. The -12 is just right for a lot of the 5 - 6" lifts. But, with your set up you'd be better off with 20 - 30 offset. I'm just repeating what I've read dozens of times and haven't actually experienced problems myself. I do however have some -12 rims that I'm not even gonna try to use because I've read so many times that it won't work. Best of luck.

Welcome from CO. You are going to like those STT Pro's. I've got them in 295/70R/18. No rubbing. Try them on. Maybe no rubbing. You may have to move the front fender skirts forward. Actually most likely. Not a big deal. Same with cab mount. If you clear it, good. If not, do the CMC. Good luck!!

My TRD Pro came with factory leveling kit. I switched TRD Pro rims for 18x9 XD's with MT 305/60/18's. I had to remove the mud flap on the front of the front wheel wells, but they don't rub anywhere else. I went from a 60 offset on the original TRD Pro rims to a 25 offset on the XD's. But I was trying to maintain the ride height and keep the inside line of the tire close to it's original line. Originals were 275/65/18's.
