Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone knows if there is a certain time of year or holiday where topper sales are worth jumping on? I have the worst luck buying things that go on sale days after

TRD Pro Grille, ESP Storage, Tailgate Inserts, Line-X Bedliner, Weathertech Floorliners, Wet Okole Seat Covers, 5" Shorty Antenna, Mickey Thompson MM-366 Wheels, ToyTec Boss, 35" BFG KO2 to name a few.
Find the one you want and see if the company has where you can subscribe to their newsletters. I have not seen any particular time when they are on sale, sorry.

They typically don’t go on sale per say. They will have discounts on certain items. Like free liner or $100 off certain items. And they rotate which items they give discounts on. I bought mine in April and got a free headliner and $100 a bedrug rug.

Any specific brand you looking at?

I’ve looked all over Texas and they are very rare to get used. Tacoma’s were a Dime a dozen, but not tundras.

There have been one or 2 on bith those pages but not in my color. Where I live the paint shops are quite pricey so I will wait for a white one or buy new after the holidays

Got my ARE of CList for $200. Had to pay an additional $150 to replace a broken window. Same color as my tunny.

Thats the kind of deal I am crossing my fingers for. Rather spend the extra $ on rims and rubber

Keep looking, and not just your local CList. I got mine from Colorado Springs Clist. Had to drive 60 miles...

Toppers are pretty much designed as per vehicle right and most likely ones from other trucks wont necessarily fit correctly

Toppers just mount on top of a bed, as long as the dimensions are similar, you can make some of them work. The lines, however, will be all jacked up, it won't flow well with the cab.

I too have been shopping around recently for a topper and wasn't able to find anything used for my Tundra so I went with a new one. SnugTop Rebel. I shopped around multiple vendors and each vendor told me that SnugTop and Leer are planning to raise their prices 3-5% on Jan 1 as the cost of raw materials has gone up.

Went with carpet headliner, sliding/fold down front window, LED Dome light, and USB/AC charging port near the tailgate.

I had an ARE on my 2006 Tundra. Decided to get another cap for my 2017. ARE was 8-10 weeks lead time. LEER was 17-21 days. Went with LEER, and have regretted it ever since. ARE so much higher in quality I hate I wasn't patient enough for the ARE. Both side windows leaked and had to be removed and resealed. Fiberglass not even close to comparing in quality and finish. Inside the LEER - carpet installation on sides and roof no comparison. ARE hands down.

I have even contemplated selling the LEER and getting the ARE, but I just hate to take the coin loss.

YMMV, but LEER quality not even close to ARE in my comparison.

Here’s where I come in then since I can’t make a sell thread yet. I’m selling my snugtop xtra vision for CM Tundra 3rd generation for $2100. It has the front window pop up and shocks to hold open. I’m PNW area and MGM color. Sry for thread derail lol.
