you’ll have to get the crossmember cut

Your turning radius will be affected

Don’t get the spacer lift, get the coilovers. You’ll be better off.

I was gonna do the RBP suspension lift. And replace the factory rims with 20x9 (or 10) tires with either the 0 or -12 offset with at least 4 1/2" backspace. Would that be ok in your opinion? Or would I be better off with a 3" - 4 1/2" lift?

I’m honestly more comfortable with a 3-4.5” lift either way. Less things to cut/replace and less things are affected.

Do what you really want to do. There are plenty of guys running their 6” and up lifts that are happy with them

0 and -12 offsets will require some chipping though.

So what tire size would y'all recommend with 4 1/2" lift?

So would I better off going with a 3" lift and run 35" tires? From what I'm reading anything from 4 1/2" ⬆️ there's cutting of the cross member involved either way, is that right?

I'm on 3/1.5" lift with 37x12.5 tires on 20x9 +20mm offset wheels. Same ground clearance as 6" lift.

You will be 100% better off with a coilover lift. It will handle better, ride better, and you will have much better use of your 4X4 if that's important to you.

Nope, just coilover and shackle swap. I used Bilstein 6112 at top setting and a CB shim for the front and Toytec shackles and Bilstein 5160 for the rear. No rubbing after some minor trimming, circled in green. This was my 1st time cutting metal.

I bought my Tundra used, and it has a 6" lift, on 35's with 20x10 wheels, lift is from RC, spoke with techs, appartenly version I have is an older kit, cause my RCM is not cut as per the instructions, yeah it looks cool, but ride quality sucks, turning radius decreases, technically I can take this kit off n go with something smaller, but I need most OEM parts back, I'd stick with something smaller IMHO, good luck on your search

 I've enjoyed 35's with a 3/2 leveling kit for a couple years now and for a few weeks I've been wondering what it would take to fit 37's. I had resigned myself to just accepting that anything more than 35's was too involved.

    @matictundra
You may have just cost me a bunch of money that I've got no business spending right now.
    :smash:

Are you using the CB spacer on top of the 6112's? If so that sounds like a bit much for the rest of the stock geometry and CVs to live up to. Can you clarify what front CB spacer you're using?

Bilstein 6112 will only get you to 2.5". I added a coachbuilder (CB) spacer to get me to 3.0" lift, you can also use Toytec spacer (both are 1/4" thick aluminum). 3.0" lift would be the limit for CV's but I also added differential drop to help out with the drive line geometry.

So aside from having reduced shock travel, my Low Range Off Road 3/1 leveling kit should have the same suspension geometry as your setup.

I'll need to regear and finish my DIY truckvault first, but then it's time for 37's!

Pretty close. I was originally on 3/1 budget spacer lift until I completely converted to 3/1.5" last summer. I haven't regear yet but already on 37's, tow mode makes up 85% loss of power. I do plan on regearing next spring.
