Can I fit 33x12.5x18 tires on my stock TRD Pro without any issues? Looking to change the rims too. Looking at the Fuel Vector.

On TRD pro wheels, you'd need a 1.25" spacer
Depends on what offset the vectors are

Alright, I don't know the offset of the vectors. I'm not on the up and up about offsets.

Looks like vectors are 1 offset. That means they're 1mm near dead center. Looking at your rims (assuming they're +60 offset) which is the standard for stock tundras, but not sure about TRD pro. Let's say +50 to be safe. The vectors would be sticking out 2 more inches (converting offset mm to inches. 50-1=49. 49 mm = 1.9 inches) at that offset, you'd most likely have to do a CMC (cab mount chop).

Then again, I'm not an expert, I'm sure someone will chime in that's more knowledgeable than I am.

You will be fine with 33's on the pro without any modifications. It's basically a 2" lift. I'm only at 2.5" of lift have +20 offset wheels and run 35's. I did have to do the cmc but you will be fine with 33's.

On 12.5 of width on 1 offset even with 33's? Not sure about that. Could be wrong though.
20-35 offset is the sweet spot for tundras that much I do know.

It seems that Vector also comes in 20 mm offset as well. I would definitely opt for 20 mm.

I run 33 x12.5x 18 with leveling kit in front and stock TRD suspension but I have aftermarket wheels with +18. No rubbing issues.

With either one of those offsets he will be fine with 33's. I just looked and my offset is +12 offset I believe and it's to much. Stay in the +18 ta +35 range. I could have went with a 34" tire with my wheels and not had to do the cmc. He will be good...

So 33x12.5x18 with a 20mm offset is what I'm looking for? And if I want to slap 35's on there I would have to put a leveling kit? I just read about offsets so I kind of get it now.

If you want to go 35's you could probably do 1 or 2 coachbuilder shims per side and the cmc and be good.

I think Law is right. I have 3.5 inch lift with 34.5 inch tire. My tires are more than 1/2 inches narrower than the tires you are trying to install. My tires at full lock is only a few mm away from the body mount, so my guess is that he will have to cut the body mount even if opts for 20 mm offset. Some people don't mind, but I personally do not want to chop the body mount.

If do some more research before making the final decision then. Or at the very least get a different offset or opt for narrower tires.

This is true but I do remember reading somewhere that the wheel well on the 3rd gen is about an inch smaller than the 2nd gens. Or is it just my imagination?

Had to do the same when I got my tires. Wanted 295/70r18 but couldn't swing the wheels just yet. So opted for a 275/70 on stockies until I could get the wheels I wanted, to avoid UCA rub. Some guys said it was fine, but i wanted to be safer than sorry.

Hey, another thing you could try if you're not ordering tires online is some shops will do a test fit for you if you buy your tires from them. May be an option

So you think I wouldn't have to do any modifications if I just go with the 295/70/18 with those vector wheels?

If it were me, I would get the wheels you like, then go to a local tire shop you trust, ask for a test fit and go from there.
