I have a 2013 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax. I'm thinking about buying a new travel trailer.
    A 2019 Outdoors RV Timber Ridge 23dbs.
    Total Exterior Length: 27'9'
    Dry Weight: 6350
    Dry Hitch Weight: 695
    Maximum Trailer Weight: 9995
    80 gallons fresh water capacity
    LPG capacity 60 pound

I'm going to purchase the weight distribution / sway bar hitch, air bags, and brake controller. Am I over the capabilities of my truck? I think I am, but I'm not sure. I'm so confused. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Look at the yellow sticker on door jamb for your payload, thats the first rating you would exceed but guessing you will be under that by a small margin. What you are doing to the truck is great, might want to consider load range e tires as well. The weight police will be along soon.

This is what we pull, yes I am 2-300 over payload but well under all other ratings and I am fine with that.

Beautiful set up. Have you ever: Had any trouble with wind? Been sketchy going down hill? Towed in the snow and ice?

I would never tow in snow and ice, dont have a need for that. The camper tows very nice, I tow at 60-65, no need to be in a hurry. What is the payload and tow capacity on your specific truck?

1550 payload, that seems pretty high for a 4x4 crewmax, a little over 100 better than my last 2 4x2 Dc's. Obviously you cant load trailer to max trailer weight ( dont know where you would fit 3500 lbs in the camper anyway). You will be towing heavy but sounds good so far.
