I'm curious if there's a chip anyone recommends also?

yep bank account is running low from it..
There are two. Unichip and bullydog.

Unichip is a add-on where the bullydog is a write into ecm.

As far as unichip goes you can use it without a s/c. I really wish it was more like a stand alone unit where you can adjust values yourself but you can't. Same for the bullydog they have there set parameters and that's it.

Is it worth it thats up to you and your wallet.

Is it worth it. Debating factor.

I hope it's worth it. I picked up the unichip system used for $200. The pc cable to reprogram it was another $50. I jumped on it, but couldn't find much about it other than it is used on s/c trucks.

I"ve installed both Unichip and BullyDog, I'm also a dealer for both companies.

The only reason I recommend Unichip is if you have a FFV and want to install a supercharger. Otherwise, to answer the original question, BullyDog is recommended if n/a. There's less custom tuning options, but there's less custom tuning necessary;) It's simple, easy, works well, reliable, and safer.

I don't have the Unichip listed on my site, but I am a dealer for em;) And I can do the BullyDog for about $80 less than my site lists it as;)

Kieth, so what you're telling me is I should ship it to you to program for me...? Looking forward to the exhaust getting here, but please tell me the tundra will sound better than my buddies raptor. He's already talking crap and they haven't even shipped.

no reliability issues, I just only reserve the unichip when there is no other way to convert to forced induction.
