    Hugely. You can even get ceramic film in CLEAR and your temps will be lower. Its the ceramic that reflects the UV away, thus keeping temp down.

    BTW, this is an option: Tint your entire front windshield with clear (ceramic) vs. just a strip above AS-1 line.

    This is my plan eventually. After I did my windows the front is the only one that is still cooking.

    Good idea. Wish I had thought about it when I tinted my sides. I put the little strip over the top on the windshield. A few days later, it hit me that I could have done the entire front in clear.

    Only problem I can see is inspection sticker removal and put on when they use the razor knife. Maybe leave a little square not filmed?

    I have my whole windshield tinted to keep the glare off. I will switch over to ceramic. Thanks for the input!

    So am I. You might be able to get away with only the top like 4 inches but any more than that would get annoying

    I’m talking about when I’m driving. The front window is like a laser beam compared to the side.
